The place has very nice cycling facilities for those who want to try it. Besides the marked bike paths, there is a nice bike park and opportunities for downhill and mountain biking. Hemsedal is also a nice place for hiking in the mountains. In the area you will find many marked hiking trails. Other recreational activities include climbing park, snorkeling in the river and golf.
